The Eco in EcoTour Quebec

To travel is also to try to understand the cultural and natural reality of the visited places. To understand it is to like it, to like it is to respect it. To travel respectfully is our most important value. To respect nature, to respect the culture and to respect the local communities visited are all equally important. In a world in which the touristic pressure is constantly increasing, we believe that it is essential for the travellers to change their travel habits for new ones.

To travel more responsibly and more ecologically is to make sure that our beautiful resources and attractions stays accessible for the futures generations.

Information about the start and the end of the tour

On the first day of the tour, we will pick you up directly from your accommodation downtown Montreal between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. The exact pick up time will be confirmed to you depending on your accommodation location and those of the other travellers. So it is very important to confirm the name and address of your hotel or hostel at least 7 days prior to the departure. If you are arriving by plane on the first day of the tour, we ask you to book a flight landing before noon so that it won’t delay the beginning of the tour for all the other travellers. If you prefer you also have the option of staying at Le Hameau des Marguerites (which will be your main accommodation during the trip) for the night or nights preceding the tour. If you choose to do so, we can pick you up from the airport on the day of your arrival, and then you will be able to enjoy the many activities offered on the site as well as getting to know your hosts.

On the last day of the trip, we will drop you off around 7:00 pm in front of your accommodation. The exact time of arrival downtown Montreal can change depending on the traffic and other local conditions.

If you have any problems booking or choosing your pre and post tour accommodation, please let us know and we can assist you with the best of our knowledge. Furthermore, if you wish to get any help for the planning of the rest of your trip (Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Gaspesie, Sagnenay-Lac St-Jean, etc.), we will be glad to advise you.
